Soaring sisters, I’ve enjoyed your sailplane videos on YouTube. I operate a winch in the US and instruct students from high schools that my college is partnered with. Are there commercial operations that use a winch for launching? My winch is mounted on a flatbed truck, I have been thinking about taking a trip to Australia with the winch and take it to places in the Red Centre, where the land offers soaring opportunities but a tow plane can’t get it. Hi. Sorry for the late reply. There are no commercial operations regularly using winch. Alice Springs clubs use winch but not commercial
